How Inkwish temporary tattoos work
Apply a design in under a minute, wear it for a few days and peel it off when you are ready. Here is everything you need to know.
How to apply a temporary tattoo
Three steps and about a minute. Read the instructions in your pack for the exact timing.
- 1

Cut it out
Trim around the design you want, close to the edge, so no extra film shows on your skin.
- 2

Press and wet
Remove the clear film, place the tattoo face down on clean, dry skin and hold a damp cloth over it.
- 3

Peel and enjoy
Gently lift the paper away and let the design dry for a moment before you touch it.
Temporary tattoo FAQ
How do I apply a temporary tattoo?
Cut out the design, remove the clear film and place it face down on clean, dry skin. Hold a damp cloth over it, then gently peel the paper away. Follow the timing printed on your pack.
How do I remove a temporary tattoo?
Rub it with baby oil, makeup remover or rubbing alcohol on a cotton pad, then wash the area with soap and water.
Where can I place a temporary tattoo?
Smooth areas that do not bend much hold a design best, such as the inner wrist, forearm, shoulder, collarbone, ankle or back. Spots that move a lot, like fingers and knees, tend to fade sooner.
How do I choose the right size?
Small designs suit fingers, wrists and behind the ear. Larger pieces suit the forearm, thigh or back. Hold the sheet against your skin before you cut to check the fit.
Can I wear several designs together?
Yes. Mix small pieces from one or more sheets to build a patchwork look, or pair matching designs with a friend, partner or sister.
